The world's seas and oceans are home to some truly revolting creatures with equally disgusting habits. This week-long event highlights a selection of gross behaviour ranging from starfish that throw up their own stomachs to fish that eat poo! Discover more about the smelliest, squidgiest and slimiest marine animals and why their disgusting habits are essential for surviving in the depths. Events include workshops and the chance to get 'hands on'.

This February Half Term Blue Reef Aquarium, in collaboration with Cornwall College Newquay, will be hosting a brand new event.
This is an exciting, interactive event where you get to discover the extreme world of exploration! Find out how the Victorian naturalists learned so much about our native wildlife. Find out what it is really like exploring the Amazon rainforest, searching the ocean depths and surveying coral reefs. As well as craft activities and interactive talks there will an ocean themed puppet show laid on each day by the enthusiastic students from Cornwall College Wildlife Education and Media course.
